This Privacy Policy explains how Wow Raid Comp: WCL Roster Import handles information when you use the Chrome extension.

1. What the Extension Does

Wow Raid Comp: WCL Roster Import is a Chrome extension that allows users to copy raid roster information displayed on Warcraft Logs to their clipboard.

When the extension is used on a supported Warcraft Logs report page, it reads the raid composition displayed on that page and formats the information into a roster that can be copied using the extension's Copy Raid Comp function.

2. Information Accessed

When the extension operates on a supported Warcraft Logs report page, it accesses the following information displayed in the raid composition on that page:

• Character names
• Character classes
• Character specializations

The extension also checks the URL of the active browser tab locally to determine whether the user is currently on Warcraft Logs and whether the page is a supported report page. This URL information is used only to determine the extension's status and is not transmitted or stored by the extension.

This information is accessed solely to provide the extension's core function of creating a copyable raid roster and to display the extension's status.

3. Data Collection and Storage

The extension does not collect or transmit the information it accesses to any developer-controlled or third-party server.

Information read from Warcraft Logs is processed locally in your browser. The extension does not send the raid roster, character names, character classes, character specializations, active-tab URL, or other information read from the supported Warcraft Logs page to the developer or to any external server.

The extension does not maintain a database, user account, profile, history, or other persistent record of copied raid rosters or active-tab URLs.

4. Clipboard Access

When you click the Copy Raid Comp button, the extension writes the formatted raid roster to your browser's clipboard so that you can paste it into another application or website.

Clipboard access is performed only to provide this user-requested copying functionality. The extension does not transmit clipboard contents to the developer or any third party, and it does not maintain a separate copy of the clipboard contents.

The extension does not read or collect unrelated information from your clipboard.

5. Permissions and Website Access

The extension uses the following Chrome permission:

• clipboardWrite — Allows the extension to copy the formatted raid roster to the clipboard when the user activates the copy function.

The extension also has website access for Warcraft Logs pages. This access is required so that the extension can identify the raid composition displayed on supported Warcraft Logs report pages and provide its core functionality.

The extension does not request access to unrelated websites.

6. Tracking, Advertising, and Analytics

The extension does not:

• Use advertising or ad networks
• Track users across websites
• Collect browsing history for advertising or profiling
• Use analytics services to track extension usage
• Sell user information
• Build user profiles

7. Third-Party Services

The extension operates on pages provided by Warcraft Logs. Warcraft Logs is a third-party website and has its own privacy practices and policies.

The extension does not send the information it reads from Warcraft Logs to the developer, to Warcraft Logs, or to other third-party services.

This extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Warcraft Logs or Blizzard Entertainment.

8. Data Sharing

The extension does not share user data with third parties. Because the extension does not transmit the information it processes to a developer-controlled server or other external service, there is no third-party data transfer for advertising, analytics, profiling, or other unrelated purposes.

9. Data Security and Limited Use

The extension is designed to minimize the handling of user information. Information accessed from supported Warcraft Logs pages is processed locally and is used only to provide the extension's single purpose: copying a raid roster to the user's clipboard and displaying the extension's status.

The extension does not use the information accessed from Warcraft Logs for advertising, analytics, profiling, personalized content, or any unrelated purpose.

The use of information received by this extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If the extension's data practices change, this Privacy Policy will be updated to accurately describe those practices.

The effective date shown at the beginning of this policy will be updated when material changes are made.
